Wheels

Tobias got a wheelchair today...thought it would be a monumental day the day he got one...but it wasn't!! Just like buying a pram really!! It's second hand (loaned through Novita) and it's basic and worn, but all up not too bad- kinda cute. I'm amazed how comfortable he seems in it. The walls and door frames will take a beating, but we will mainly use it outside of the home.

Carols and camel rides

We went to the local Christmas pageant and carol service last night. It was the first time we have been since living here. The rain pretty much held off and it turn out to be a good community event. I love this time of the year...

To blog or not to blog? that is the question!

How to start my first ever blog? Why to start now? Well...2011 is shaping up to be a BIG year for me. It is the year I turn 30. I'm excited. It's a milestone I am looking forward to. As I look back on the years past, I feel like I have accomplished much. My greatest accomplishment thus far...my two beautiful children, Ebony and Tobias. The two little people that keep me going everyday, who make me laugh and cry, who never cease to amaze me. These are the two that this blog will mainly be about. The two that my life is mainly centred around.

Let me introduce them to you...

Free spirited Ebony Moriah is almost 5. I have homeschooled her through Kindy and plan to homeschool her for a few years yet. She has extreme emotions- there is no inbetween with Ebony. She's either hot or cold- never warm. She has a big heart and alot to her. My goal is to channel her in the right direction.

Tobias Reuben is in some ways the opposite to Ebby. He is much more even tempered. Nothing really fazes him. He has been through a lot in his two and a quarter years of life, but you wouldn't know it! He was born with spina bifida, but I don't think anyone told him that, coz he doesn't seem to notice his limitations and gives life a red hot go.
